Enjoy a Quite Moment in Vancouver Water
I captured this quite moment on a summer day in Vancouver. I was impressed by the still scene with this bird standing on a piece of wood. It is warm in sunlight but cool in breeze with a sharp contrast between the direct light and instant shadows. The water part provides a sooth base and harmonized greenish feeling throughout the picture.
Watercolour is perfect for this inspiration. We will apply three main objects for composition: bird and wood for main character and foreground, water area for fundamentals covering all complicated contents underneath. The two parts are extremely different: still and hard form vs fluid and soft body. It will be challenge but also very interesting to achieve the equivalent features.
Please follow me step-by-step, I want to guide you through this watercolour journey and find a enjoyable moment in the summer time.
