

Creating Memory of Autumn in Watercolours
In this lesson, you may explore and enjoy the fall journey with leaves. As a symbol of autumn colour, a variety of red in maple leaves are beautiful gift from nature. The rich arrangement of yellow, orange, red, green and brown decorated autumn leaves with a touchable texture, while the red will always be the most significant character shining out.
Wet-on-wet techniques will be the major technique to achieve the smooth blending among red and other colours. Granulation is another effect to be conducted through the practice. You may also find a flexibility to assemble your choice of leaves together to reach a desired composition, as well as to pick up the shapes and colours to complete your own work.
